Commencal Canada

Commencal Canada are the official distributors for Commencal bikes in Canada. The brief from Commencal simple, create a website that puts a heavy focus on sharp, brand targetted design and then develop the website into a fully content manageable system to allow staff of Commencal to easily update the content on the website without having to become involved in the technical aspects of the site.

The result was a site design that is both modern and sharp and one of the Indulge web design team in Guernsey's most enjoyable and satisfying projects. The site was designed to work in harmony with the global branding style of Commencal bikes but also to make use of Commencal Canada's excellent imagery.

Another important aspect of the design stage was to allow for customers to browse the range of high end bikes with ease. Using the high quality images of the Commencal bikes the design integrated a built in, custom made image zoom function that is intuitive and useful in equal measure.

The development stage of this project saw the design placed into a powerful content management system, giving staff of Commencal Canada the ability to easily update a plethora of options on the website. As well as this, there is a section to allow official Commencal dealers to log in to the site and allow them to add their shop on the map to point customers in the right direction.
