Desmond's New York
One of New York City's finest restaurants, and eatery to the stars, Desmond's could be described as the tastiest website we have ever worked on. We were approached by Desmond's to produce a website that would represent the trendy background of the restaurant whilst also reflecting the classy style of the venue and its surroundings, including the iconic backdrop of New York City.
Our Guernsey web design team believed that the website would not be complete without paying tribute to the iconic backdrop of the NYC skyline, one of the most recognisable sights in the world. The website is one of our most experimental to date and features a unique navigation that allows visitors to take a taxi ride through the city, stopping off to take in the content of the Desmond's website.
The Desmond's project is a triumph for the Indulge Media website development team who were able to expertly build the site into a content management system to allow staff of the restaurant to update images, text and other elements. On top of this, the website visitor can browse the website using their keyboard arrow keys to drive the cab left and right. Look closely and the attention to detail is wonderful as the taxi wheels even blur when the cab is moving! Go on, you know you want to go for a spin!
