Brief
The IoD (Institute of Directors) is an important national organisation that represents directors and business leaders throughout the country. Indulge was commissioned by the IoD to deliver a new website for the Guernsey branch of the organisation.
The brief was clear; the website must provide an intuitive and engaging user experience, enabling the organisation to serve existing members and attract new members.
Our process
UX research enabled our team to deliver an entirely new content strategy. Key features of the strategy include a two-tiered navigation structure, segmenting user journeys through ‘informational’ and ‘live’ content (such as news and events).
The website is delivered using Drupal in combination with Helix, our in-house Drupal framework which dramatically increases admin ease-of-use and template flexibility. A 79-point quality assurance process guaranteed the site was ready for launch. One-to-one mapping of over 100 legacy URLs ensured that the site retained its presence in search.
