When for the fourth year running, Specsavers asked us to put together a socially integrated site to support the 2016 Spectacle Wearer of The Year, we jumped at the opportunity.
As well as being 100% mobile compatible the website was designed to work seamlessly with Facebook, allowing users to pull in data from their Facebook account and choose images from their Facebook galleries. A Facebook desktop application was also launched alongside so that users could enter without even leaving Facebook. Since launch the competition has been hugely popular, with a large initial surge of entrants.
